It may be possible to arrange for the reduction of the

latter amount in the event of the Engineer' a servicea

not being required after the station is completed.

(See Clause 1 b of special conditions page 9).

C.i.f. prices are also quoted, but probably

the f.o.b. quotation will prove the more favourable. 6. We now await the Secretary of State's

instructions as to proceeding. Should it be decided

to accept the Marconi Company's offer, we assume it

will be necessary to enter into three separate contracts

on behalf of each of the three Governments concerned.
